We arrived at the Fairfield Resort in West Sedona at around 5:00 PM. We met up with my Mom, my Uncle, and my cousin Dan. My sister Leah and her husband Todd showed up shortly after we arrived. (I'm still kicking myself for not getting any pictures of Leah or Todd, but we're waiting for pictures from two other cameras ...) The picture above is a view of the red rocks taken from the back balcony of the resort. But before you plunk down the money for a timeshare at Fairfield, take a look at the undoctored photo below:

As you can see, the full view is not quite as serene. That is unless you feel that a lumberyard enhances the scenery!

A view to the east shows off more red rocks and a few of the other dwellings in Sedona.

This shot was a bit overexposed, but I think it gives it a bit of that washed-out, "old west" look.

Linda shot this excellent sunset from the entryway. I bet Fairfield would love to use this picture in their promo material.
